The modern lobby stood out, and our small balcony offered lovely views perfect for people-watching.

The staff were fairly friendly and gave me good recommendations. The room I booked was cleaned daily with large bathroom and available with a balcony, a full length mirror and a TV. The service here was excellent. The whole experience was such wonderful, no complaints whatsoever, would recommend.
The hotel staff was unwelcoming.

The only think good in this hotel is the location. Is near Monaco Regal Palace.
The room is not clean and everithing is "old" inside. Is rated three stars but two is too much.....The room is small the air condition doesn't work properly, the door is thin, you can hear everithing from outside. The price is hudge for this conditions

Great value for the price. Cost included breakfast and internet access.
Walls were not very insulating, we could hear voices from the room next to ours.

Absolutely nothing
First room they offered was dark, sombre and facing a dirty exterior wall - after some argument was relocated to a better room. The mini-bar contained a half empty bottle of sparkling wine which I was accused of having opened and drunk myself. The owners have spent a lot of money on the lobby and immediately visible facilities but looks like nothing has been spent on the accommodation in a long time. Really not a pleasnt place to stay unless you are really on a cheap budget and I dont think what I paid was that cheap.

the very nice hotel staff as well as the location.
unfortunatelz we did not have any view at all. The room was directly looking on the street and everybody was able to see in the room.

Not a complaint but rather a comment. Upon my arrival on the 2 Dec. in the evening the gentleman at the reception desk was the most unfriendly, unsmiling hotel staff I have ever met! If he is to be in the business then it may pay to welcome his guests in a friendlier manner. Perhaps he was having a bad day but was rather disappointing.

The Ambassador-Monaco offered a solid budget option for a short stay. The location is a winner-just a short walk to the harbor and Monte Carlo sights. My room had a nice little balcony perfect for people-watching, and the bed was surprisingly comfy. Breakfast had a decent spread even if it could use a bit more variety, but the view while eating was good. The staff were friendly and quick during check-in. The room itself had its issues. It showed some wear and tear, and the bathroom could use better attention to cleanliness. One annoying aspect was the lack of shower doors, leading to quite the splash situation. The air conditioning also needed a check. It was loud and disrupted my sleep a bit. While the atmosphere had its charm, the overall facilities felt slightly outdated and could benefit from some upgrades.
